Step into a fully-illuminated environment that exists in exclusively one color. Inspired by Olafur Eliasson's installations, this carefully constructed space uses special single-frequency lamps emitting only yellow light around 589nm wavelength.

The Experience

Your brain adjusts to the unique combination of normal ambient lighting combined with 100% single color saturation. The visual result is the closest you'll get to walking inside a black and white movie in real life.

What Happens

• Private 90-minute session in custom-built monochromatic environment
• Guided introduction to the perceptual science behind the experience
• 30 minutes of unstructured exploration time
• Integration discussion about visual perception and consciousness

Technical Details

Originally developed in the mid-late 90s with special glass bulbs, recent LED advances have made this easier to accomplish while maintaining the precise 589nm wavelength required for the effect.

• Age Requirement: 16+ (under 18 requires parent/guardian)
