Strawberry Moon

The full moon that arrives with the first summer berries.

The Strawberry Moon is the full moon of early summer — named by Algonquin and Ojibwe peoples for the brief and abundant season of wild strawberries. It marks the turn into the long, loose middle of the year, when something in the body relaxes that has been held tighter all spring.

We gather around it. Not because it is a content hook — because it is a real thing, and gathering around real things is how we do it here.

The Strawberry Moon event is quiet-loud: intimate enough to feel like a dinner party, alive enough to feel like something worth staying up for. The format varies year to year. What you can expect: a reason to be outside at night, people who mean it, food and drink that fits the moment.
